Venezuela and Malaysia initiate bilateral relations in the parliamentary sphere
This Tuesday, the business manager a.i. of the Venezuelan Embassy in Malaysia, Morella Barreto López, held an important meeting with the spokesman of the Chamber of Representatives of the Malaysian Parliament, Dato ‘Mohamad Ariff Bin Md Yusof, in the legislative palace of the Asian country.
During the meeting both authorities ratified their interest in continuing to cultivate bilateral relations between the two countries in the parliamentary sphere through a friendship group Malaysia-Venezuela, which they plan to set up.
The Venezuelan diplomat also announced the reality of Venezuela and reported on the constant attacks to which the Venezuelan people have been subjected and the solutions offered by the national government to counteract the harmful effects of the economic blockade imposed by the United States.
For his part, the spokesman of the Chamber of Representatives of the Malaysian Parliament, Dato ‘Mohamad Ariff Bin Md Yusof, confirmed that the Malaysian Federation maintains its policy of non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries.
Last October, Malaysia and Venezuela strengthened academic relations through the National University of Malaysia and its Center for Latin American Studies.
