China and Venezuela strengthen bilateral relations.

Deputy Foreign Minister Zhang Jun met with Vice-minister of Foreign Relations for Multilateral Affairs of Venezuela Felix Plasencia. Both sides have exchanged in-depth views on the current international situation and China-Venezuela cooperation in multilateral areas, reaching a broad consensus.
Zhang Jun said that the world is currently full of uncertainties and instabilities. Unilateralism and intimidation have become the greatest threats and the most serious destructive factors of the international community, as well as the source of problems and threats. The Chinese side attaches great importance to relations between China and Venezuela, strongly supports the just struggle of Venezuelan governments to safeguard national sovereignty, independence and dignity, opposes external interference and threat with force, and will keep helping Venezuela to recover political stability. Achieve economic development to improve the quality of life of people. The Chinese side is willing to keep improving coordination and cooperation in multilateral affairs with the Venezuelan side.
Felix Plasencia thanked the Chinese side for its strong support for the Venezuelan government and its democratic system.
