Sectoral Vice President Aristóbulo Istúriz holds a meeting with the Minister of Social Development of Palestine

The sectoral Vice-president of Social and Territorial Development, Aristóbulo Istúriz, held a meeting with the Minister of Social Development of Palestine, Ahmed Majdalani. This bilateral is held in the framework of Istúriz’s visit to the Republic of South Africa, where he was accompanied by the Vice-minister for Africa of the People’s Power Ministry for Foreign Relations, Yuri Pimentel. Minister Ahmed Majdalani was also part of the delegation of heads of state and international guests who attended the inauguration of the new government in the Republic of South Africa presided by Cyril Ramaphosa, elected last May 8. The beginnings of diplomatic relations and friendship between Venezuela and the State of Palestine date back to 2009. Since then, both countries have signed multiple cooperation agreements on education, economy, trade, energy, agriculture, culture, tourism, communication, sports, defense, security and health.
