Venezuela does not accept threats from Washington

The People’s Power Minister  for Foreign Relations of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, categorically rejected the gangster tone with which White House spokesmen refer to Venezuela, pretending to intimidate with threats of military intervention in the Homeland of Bolívar. In this regard, Foreign Minister Arreaza expressed through his Twitter account, @jaarreaza, that “the spokesmen of Washington in gangster tone repeat that ‘in the case of Venezuela all options are on the table’ They lie! Neither diplomacy, nor dialogue, nor respect for International Law and the Venezuelan Constitution are on that famous table”. These statements by the Venezuelan Foreign Minister arise in response to the hostile statements spearheaded by Donald Trump, Mike Pence, Mike Pompeo, John Bolton and Marcos Rubio mainly, who repeatedly allude to a potential US military intervention in Venezuela. In this sense, FM Jorge Arreaza refutes the interventionist attitudes and actions coming from the White House, which have been escalated in their aggressions against the people and government of Venezuela, with the criminal application of the economic blockade, sanctions and unilateral coercive measures against the national economy, in order to disturb the peace of the country and lead a coup d’etat to overthrow the constitutional president Nicolás Maduro Moros. As has been public and notorious, the motive of the US government is to seize power in Venezuela to control the natural and mineral wealth of the South American nation.
