Foreign Ministers of Venezuela and Serbia meet in Belgrade
The Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, held on Saturday a working meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Relations of the Republic of Serbia, Ivica Dačić, in the city of Belgrade.
During the high-level meeting, both diplomats addressed issues of mutual interest, as well as political and strategic alliances that have been woven in recent years.
On that point, the first Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia, Ivica Dačić, expressed his solidarity with Venezuela on the threat of military intervention that the United States government maintains on the national territory.
“We have a moral duty to warn Venezuela about the consequences of a military intervention. From the multilateral organizations we will lend all the support to stop this attack”, said Dačić.
Similarly, the Head of Serbian diplomacy thanked the support of the Bolivarian Government to Serbia in multilateral organizations, on the issue of the self-proclaimed province of Kosovo, which in 2008 arbitrarily proclaimed an independence that Belgrade does not recognize, and to the moment, it has only been accepted by the United States, Canada and some members of the European Union.
Dačić, also ratified the support of the European nation in the struggle undertaken by Venezuela to stop interference and foreign intervention.
