Venezuela strengthens cooperation ties with the World Food Program

On Friday, the Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, held an important working meeting with the Executive Director of the World Food Program (WFP) of the United Nations Organization, David Beasley, during his working visit to the city of Rome, Italy. In this regard, both diplomatic representatives indicated that the objective of this meeting is to ensure the welfare of the Venezuelan people, as they expressed their desire to strengthen the bonds of cooperation between the Bolivarian Government and the agency. In turn, they reviewed the work agenda held by both parties. For this high-level meeting attended the Vice-minister for Multilateral Issues of the People’s Power Ministry  for Foreign Relations, Felix Plasencia and Vice-minister for Europe, Yván Gil.
