Foreign Minister Arreaza: Venezuela has never been a threat to any people in the world

The Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, informed through his Twitter account @jaarreaza, that the administration of the United States President, Donald Trump, ratifies and renews the executive order initially approved in 2015 by former President Barack Obama, which declares Venezuela as an ‘unusual and extraordinary threat’ to the internal security of the United States, as an excuse to maintain the systematic siege campaign against the Venezuelan people.

“The Administration of @ realDonaldTrump ratifies and renews the historical error committed by the government of @BarackObama. Venezuela has never been a threat to any people in the world. Venezuela is HOPE, we are sovereign land of WORK and PEACE #HandsOffVenezuela”, he wrote from @jaarreaza.

Likewise, the Foreign Minister stressed the bonds of friendship that exist between the Venezuelan and American people and denounced the use of permanent and illegal mechanisms of aggression to justify the exit of the legitimate and constitutional government of Venezuela, with the only purpose of taking control of the natural riches of the country.

“The Venezuelan people are friends with the American people. The Decree that they renew today is only a pretext to justify an unprecedented aggression, which includes the threat of the use of force, in order to force a regime change to control the country’s riches”, said the People’s Power Minister for Foreign Relations.

Also, Foreign Minister Arreaza indicated that such aggressions have activated solidarity with Venezuela, including in the United States.

“The actions of @RealDonaldTrump and his entourage have managed to awaken and activate a powerful movement against the war and in solidarity with Venezuela within the very people of the United States. #HandsOffVenezuela”, he added.
