Vice-minister Raúl Licausi: Migration is a learning process that teaches us to value Venezuela
A new opportunity to build the Patria Grande is what he highlighted in his speech of welcome to the second group of 100 returnees from Ecuador, the Vice-minister for the Caribbean of the People’s Power Ministry for Foreign Relations, Raúl Licausi.
In his speech, Vice-minister Licausi said that 2019 represents a year of great challenges and opportunities for Venezuelans who decided to return to their country and bet on its construction despite the difficulties it is facing due to the economic war imposed by the United States and the European Union.
“We have a new opportunity to build a better country, we are happy to receive them. We know that a new year of great challenges is coming, but within it we will have new opportunities”, said the vice minister.
Licausi stressed to the compatriots from Ecuador who arrived to the country at approximately 8:00pm, that the decision to migrate to another country should become a learning experience that “teaches Venezuelans to value their Homeland, which offers opportunities to everyone who comes”.
“Everyone who has gone through a migration process knows how difficult it is to make the decision, and how difficult it is to go through adverse circumstances, but at the same time it serves as a lesson to value what we have in our country”, he said.
