Vice-minister Carlos Ron ratifies the Executive’s support to Venezuelans repatriated from Peru
On behalf of the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the Vice-minister for North America of the People’s Power Ministry for Foreign Relations, Carlos Ron, received on Saturday 100 Venezuelans from the Republic of Peru, who decided to voluntarily accept the Plan Vuelta a la Patria.
From the Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, the diplomat conveyed a message of encouragement to the compatriots who, according to their testimonies, have been victims of xenophobia, discrimination and labor exploitation in the Inca nation.
“It is an important moment to be here thanks to this program that was designed with the intention of helping compatriots who were abroad going through very hard situations”, he said in relation to the Plan Vuelta a la Patria, through which a total of 600 citizens return to Venezuela this Saturday: 300 from Peru and 300 from the Republic of Ecuador.
Vice-minister Ron made the occasion opportune to urge the nationals to join efforts for the development of the country.
“You must know that you have all the support from the State (…) We know there are many challenges but nobody is a burden here, we all need to build that beautiful homeland we want (…) To fight against the blockade and the constant siege upon our country”, he added.
