Venezuela and Morocco strengthen ties of cooperation in immigration law
From the city of Marrakech, where the Intergovernmental Conference for the Adoption of the Global Compact for Orderly, Secure and Regular Migration is consolidated, the FM of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza and his Moroccan counterpart, Nasser Bourita, maintained an important bilateral meeting.
This meeting aims to strengthen bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in terms of strengthening views on migratory human rights.
It should be noted that this conference not only seeks the adoption by the member states to the Global Compact for Orderly, Secure and Regular Migration, but also that they set in motion the practical efforts to implement the Covenant, identify the ways to support each other to fulfill its commitments on a global scale, aligned with the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). They also discuss the concrete achievements they intend to achieve, collectively and individually in the four years prior to the first International Migration Review Forum to be held in the year 2022.
