Venezuela has close bilateral ties with Thailand and Iran
The Vice-minister for Asia, the Middle East and Oceania of the People’s Power Ministry for Foreign Relations, Rubén Darío Molina, held a bilateral meeting on Friday in Bali with Deputy Foreign Minister of Thailand Thani Thongphakdi.
The diplomats expressed the interest of both countries to cooperate on the basis of bilateral agreements that allow the establishment of more dynamic relations and addressed the intention of Venezuela to join the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) as a Dialogue Partner.
In the end, Vice-minister Molina met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Muhammad Farazandeh, with whom he highlighted the ties of friendship and cooperation maintained by Caracas and Tehran.
Both diplomats also ratified the mutual support before the imposition of unilateral coercive measures against their countries.
