Begins the XIII edition of the International Tourism Fair of Venezuela Fitven

The XIII edition of the International Tourism Fair of Venezuela (Fitven) opens its doors on November 22 and until next Sunday, November 25 with the aim of enhancing the commercial exchange and tourism of the Caribbean nation with other nations of the world. The event that will be held in the spaces of Simón Bolívar Park located at the Generalissimo Francisco de Miranda Air Base, in La Carlota will be attended by 224 companies from Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean, who will be able to appreciate the potential of the tourism sector of Venezuela through the 172 stands arranged throughout the fair. For the opening of the Fitven will be presenting the Simón Bolívar Big Band Jazz Orchestra and the Latin Caribbean 23 de Enero core, both belonging to the National System of Youth and Children’s Orchestras and Choirs of Venezuela. In the afternoon, the opening ceremony is planned with the cutting of the ribbon that welcomes the hundreds of visitors who will enjoy the Fitven for free. The People’s Power Minister for Tourism, Stella Lugo, reported that in its thirteenth edition the fair will focus on three areas of action such as attracting foreign currency, increasing national and international tourism and the promotion of various tourist sites from the country.
