ANC approves constituent agreement in honor of Alí Rodríguez Araque

During its ordinary session on Tuesday, the National Constituent Assembly (ANC), approved a constituent agreement in honor of the ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Cuba and former Foreign Minister, Ali Rodriguez Araque, after his physical departure on Monday, November 19.

The first vice president of the legislative body, Tania Diaz, reported that the project hopes to ratify the Bolivarian Government’s firm commitment to the struggle of Rodriguez Araque, where he also offered testimonies of the battles he faced together with the Bolivarian Revolution over the years.

The agreement qualifies him as a “loyal man, a warrior of a thousand battles and an example of tireless struggle for present and future generations for the libertarian cause of the Venezuelan people”.

For his part, the president of the National Constituent Assembly, Diosdado Cabello, reported that tomorrow will be installed a Burning Chapel in the Yellow House, Antonio José de Sucre, in Caracas, in tribute to the politician and diplomat for his outstanding work in defense of the anti-imperialist and socialist cause.

During his professional career, Alí ​​Rodríguez Araque, served as General Secretary of the Union of South American Nations (Unasur), General Secretary of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), President of Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA), Minister of Energy and Mines, Minister of Foreign Relations, Minister of Economy and Finance and ambassador of Venezuela in the Republic of Cuba.
