Conversation “The value of the human being in Islam” is carried out within the framework of the Filven
This Tuesday, the Conversation “The value of the human being in Islam” was held, in the Yellow Room of the Yellow House Antonio José de Sucre, in Caracas, as part of the activities developed by the International Book Fair of Venezuela (Filven), in its XIV edition.
During the activity, the speaker from the mosque “Shaikh Ibrahim Al-Ibrahim” in Caracas, Omar Kaddoura, stressed that “the objective of this discussion is to recognize the value that God has given us on earth and why we are here”.
During the meeting, Kaddoura explained the concept of Islam and who is the Muslim; the historical perspective of religion, the Koran and the tradition of the Prophet Muhammad.
In turn, he stressed that “God gave us reasoning so that through integrity, respect, love, conciliation, compassion, equality between human beings and the preservation of the environment, we can achieve well-being and happiness in common”.
Finally, the also Sheik of the mosque, invited the general public to visit this place of prayers, every Sunday at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.
