The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, thanked the unrestricted support of the European organizations that constituted this Saturday the European Network of Solidarity with the Bolivarian Revolution.
“On behalf of the venezuelan people that stoically resists the aggressions of imperialism, I appreciate the unrestricted support and commitment of european organizations, which translates into the formation of the European Network of Solidarity with the Bolivarian Revolution. We will win!”, Said the head of state through his Twitter account @NicolasMaduro.
Gathered in Brussels, representatives of 36 organizations with a history of internationalist struggles from 17 countries in Europe formed the European Network of Solidarity with the Bolivarian Revolution.
In its founding statement, the coalition denounces that “Venezuela has been a victim of the systematic violation of its sovereignty, through an economic and financial blockade imposed by an executive order issued in 2015 by the White House and reinforced by the current US administration”.
The European Network of Solidarity with the Bolivarian Revolution proposes, among its objectives, to develop “an agenda of struggle that allows breaking the media siege on the venezuelan reality, in addition to demanding from the european institutions the cessation of interventionist aggressions, policies of sanctions and support for sectors with clear terrorist purposes”.
