Fourth flight from Ecuador up to Venezuela with 93 repatriates
A total of 93 repatriated from the Republic of Ecuador returned to Venezuela on Friday through the Plan Vuelta a la Patria.
At 11 o’clock in the morning, the flight that brought back 37 women, 34 men and 22 children, of which three were newborns, departed from the Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía.
Of that number, 26 corresponded to health cases, which were prioritized and attended by a medical team of the People’s Power Ministry for Health during the flight.
Analys Martínez, a young chef who finished her studies in Venezuela, decided in April 2017 to go to Ecuadorian lands convinced that she would improve her quality of life.
Martinez commented that at the beginning she received a very strong treatment just for being venezuelan.
While in Ecuador, she got pregnant. During her pregnancy, she was attended by a venezuelan doctor who showed her solidarity at all times.
In addition to the difficult moments experienced by Martinez in the South American nation, what motivated this venezuelan girl to return to her country was the panic she experienced when several men with knives tried to kidnap her little girl.
“I decided to return to Venezuela because I was alone with my daughter. A week ago while I went out for a walk with the baby, several men with a suspicious attitude approached me and tried to tear my daughter away from me”, said Martínez, adding that in Ecuador the traffic of children’s organs is increasing with great growth.
For his part, Mr. Raymond Zreyk, a Syrian who arrived in Venezuela in the 1960s, decided to go to Ecuador in search of a new life experience.
Upon his return, Zreyk said that although he was not born in Venezuela, he would not leave her again.
“There is no other country like Venezuela that offers opportunities to the emigrant who is received as a Venezuelan”, he said.
Analys Martínez and Raymond Zreyk are just two of the hundreds of venezuelan stories who, inoculated by a voracious media campaign that positions the matrix of a humanitarian crisis in the country, decided to leave to distant lands without imagining what they would live.
After 7 pm between applause, tears and shouts of joy, the venezuelans celebrated the landing of the flight of the state airline Conviasa in Venezuelan lands.
