Venezuela and Kyrgyzstan establish diplomatic relations
The foreign ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Erlan Abdyldaev and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, held a meeting on Thursday – within the framework of the 73rd Session of the UN General Assembly – to establish diplomatic relations between both nations.
This meeting was favorable to sign a joint agreement that lays the foundation for the establishment of bilateral relations promoting mutual understanding as well as the strengthening of friendship and cooperation between the country of Central Asia and the Caribbean nation.
“Today we have established diplomatic relations with the Kyrgyz Republic. Venezuela continues to make progress in its relations with the peoples and States of the world. Soon we will visit Kyrgyzstan to deepen the links that we have begun to develop today”, the FM posted on his Twitter account @jaarreaza.
The signing of this agreement is given under the foundations and principles of the Charter of the United Nations and international law, political and legal instruments that subscribe to respect, the promotion of peace, the equality of States as well as respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity.
