Venezuela ratifies its appreciation to the Portuguese community
Following a statement issued by the Portuguese Republic about the arrest of portuguese entrepreneurs owners of supermarket chains in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the People’s Power Minister for Foreign Relations, Jorge Arreaza, stressed that “individual actions or a small group of entrepreneurs will never manage to tarnish the brightness and contributions of such a beloved community”.
Likewise, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister pointed out through his account on Twitter @jaarreaza, that “there are more than 400,000 honest, hard-working Luso-Venezuelans, highly appreciated and respected by the people of Venezuela”.
“The people and government of Portugal know the special treatment that the Revolutionary Government has always offered to the portuguese community”, said Arreaza.
At the same time, the Head of the Foreign Ministry stressed that in Venezuela the law and justice prevails, always guaranteeing the rights of citizens.
Finally Minister Arreaza pointed out that “the Bolivarian Government ratifies its admiration towards the Portuguese community in the country, and knows that together, through the Program of Economic Recovery, Growth and Prosperity, we will achieve the well-being of all the inhabitants of the Homeland Venezuela”.
