High Level Commission Venezuela and China strengthen cooperative relations

During his visit to China, the Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, highlighted the achievements and results obtained in the XVI of the Venezuela-China High Level Commission that culminated this Friday with the signing of 28 agreements signed to enhance the energy and economic sector of both nations.

“I thank Comrade Wang Yi, member of the State Council and Chancellor of the People’s Republic of China, for the excellent work of his entire team to achieve the indisputable success of the XVI High-Level Venezuela-China Joint Commission,” said Arreaza.

Foreign Minister Wang Yi highlighted that “the relationship with Venezuela is as solid as the Great Wall and progresses steadily forward like the Orinoco River,” he said.

The High Level Joint Commission created in 2001 seeks to strengthen cooperation mechanisms between Venezuela and China. Upon his arrival in the Asian nation, the president, Nicolás Maduro, said that “this visit will mark a new era in the relations between both countries.”
