Foreign Minister Arreaza assures that Donald Trump ideologizes international politics with the style of the Cold War

With respect to the humanitarian aid that in the opinion of President Nicolás Maduro forms part of the interventionist actions of the United States government against Venezuela, the Foreign Minister assured that the «brutal policies» of Donald Trump against the Venezuelan people, have led to the blockade of 1,400 million dollars destined to the acquisition of foods and medicines, which have been retained by the Department of the Treasury. He also referred to the aggressions promoted through the financial blockade and the economic war that produced the shortage of basic necessities in the South American country, also motivated by the persecution in the western banking system. In spite of the campaign of discrediting against Venezuela that seeks to position the «humanitarian crisis», the Venezuelan diplomat recalled that, «32 million people in the US still do not have health insurance. More than 40% of Americans have gone into debt because of health problems. Health debts are the main cause of individual bankruptcies». Contrary to US policy, the National Government that presides over the head of State, Nicolás Maduro, has promoted the protection of the Venezuelan people, opposed to what happens in the United States, where «more than 2,737 children were arbitrarily separated from their parents at the US border between June 2017 and November 2018 according to a report published by the Office of the Inspector General of the Department of Health and Human Services of that country», Arreaza reported.
